Bucks spotted

Just thought I would pass this along. On my way into work on 06 Jun I passed a group of 6 deer in a yard and when I drove back to check them out, I noticed that 3 of them were bucks. The largest was a decent 8 pointer with about a 14" spread. All of his other points were short, but he has a few months to get some length into them.

I saw my first buck in velvet Monday morning. He was grazing alongside the road not far from Stony Creek Park. He looked like he was going to be a nice 8 pointer. :)

As i was planting the beans on the farm, I looked up to notice a group of deer looking at me on the tractor as I rode along. To my amasement all 8 are bucks. i can't wait for the fall to get a good look at there racks. The farm is about 5 miles from the area that the state records came from. near the washtenaw/jackson county line area.
