Ok sorry for the length of time between Firday's fishing day and today...
I dont even know where to start....but it rained the ENTIRE morning. We were cold and wet by the time we left at about noon. Air temp was 63 degrees when we got there at 6:30am, and 65 when we left. Surface temp was 71 degrees already (according to the graph).
We caught 1 fish, about a 13 inch small mouth, while drifting with crawler harnesses, and a bottom bouncer. I think the lake can produce many more fish given better conditions, that is why we plan on going back out there this Friday again, we only have a 30% chance of rain, so I guess we'll see how it goes.
Water was unbelieveably clear, we could see hmm a good 12-15 ft deep, with no problems, even deeper when we came across a sand bottom.
We drifted with harnesses and bottom bouncers, anchored with crappie rigs, and trolled a bit with harnesses and rapalas. After we get back in on Friday Ill post another report.
