Hope to be hitting the bay as well on Sat. Au gres for me. Area has been on FIRE for awhile. This is by far the best early fishing for me and I have not had to run far. Give me shout, sometimes I can pick-up that area-ch 10--dream catcher. Have been reading posts from walleye express on his spoon/big gulp rigs. Have you tried this set up yet? I might give it a try. Plastic/spoons off a three way have been my weapons of choice so far and they have worked pretty well. Only thing I do not like is the time it takes to get them back with out getting all tangled up$#$^%^&^!! Sounds like his barrel swivel-slider might be the ticket. How bout you? Be safe not sorry--DC

Thanks, KB !
Dreamcatcher, the spoon/gulp thing looks promising. I've been toying with the plastic crawlers since early last year too, fair success at it also. I think them 'eyes are gonna bite what you put in front of them (real or not, as long as it is not offensive to them) when they're "on the bite" no matter what. They sure do keep the "tail biters" from screwing around with ya, though I just can't let go of the real thing yet. I've been running Pa's/harnesses usually and some plain silver spoons in front of harnesses with decent results, the extra flash of the silver spoons helps to get their attention from a distance I believe. I run about a 30" - 36" lead from my spoons to the harnesses I make. ;) Killer. The slider rig looks very cool. Good luck to ya should you get out ! :D

I should be out there also on Saturday as long as weather cooperates. I've been hearing Pinc. Bar anywhere from 12-18ft water with harness's/bottom bouncers been doing good. I'll probably launch out of Hoyles and try a couple areas I know out from there, but may wind up on the Pinc. bar. I'll be on 68. Good luck.

We just launched a 19.5 ft Lund this afternoon from Gambils. No problem. The water is high.
