decided on this lake today..water clarity good,as usual..weeds about normal for this time of year, surface temp 73.5 to 74.5........not much action deep..gills still bedding..caught bout a dozen pike one of keeper size, bout as many largemouth, none of keeper size, some good size pumpkinseeds and rock bass..off water by 1;30..the pleasure folk take over, plus the high sun today.........no eyes......fish came on a mixture of baits..all the panfisherman reported good success

Doing pretty good, going fishing wednesday and thursday night on the Rogue, if the water is down enough by then.

What was the name of the game today? Live bait, crankbaits, spinnerbaits?

we used a varity of body baits...taildancers,jointed rapalas, flatfish, rebel crayfish..seems like with a crawler u couldn't keep the panfish off, no chance for an eye when u are constantly reeling in a small gil or sunny..rogue aye? hope this predicted storm don't wash u out tomorrow...P.S...if u like carp(the water is so clear at fenton) i seen a couple swimmin that woulda been 15 /20 pounds!..plus i can't believe how small a fish some of those pan guys keep..we were throwin back rocks and pan twice the size of some they were keepin...boy did we get some 'looks'...lol

Hey shamer we have to figure out the ponemah eyes....i've been wanting to catch some walleye from a lake where the water isn't brown :) I wouldv'e already tried it but I've never been there and I'm wondering if you can run boards there.

Hmmm, theres enough lake, main body, but lots of irregular depths could be shaggin lots of weed, if u aren't fairly precise with the troll.....Thats not one of my success stories for eyes...but had better b an evening thing, they have a little camp like area..mostly trailers there, plus the residents plus the launch...afternoon the traffic could mess u up with boards
