Hello to all...what a great site! Just wondering I'll be in the UP over the Fourth and was wondering does anyone know how the Manistique Lake/Tahquamenon River are doing? Going to be fishing both so would like to know a little about them before I head up? Anything would help....

Welcome to MS Row! While I don't have any specific information about either the lake or river you asked about, I do know that Manistique Lake does offer some excellent walleye fishing.

I have fished the Taq. and caught plenty of pike on the river, both going up and down from mcphee's landing, out of newberry. The pike were all pretty much small one's, I do not have much experience on the river either, all I can offer is plenty of small pike in there. :fish2:
