Yeah things are screwed up around Mio. Best I could manage was a 10" brown and a smaller bow. Those were on plugs.
Went upstream to the No Flies and managed 9 Browns over a foot with the biggest hitting 16". Streamers on deeper holes with lumber did it.
I also got to see drunk locals jumping off the 33 bridge and drunk and uninhibited canoe bunnies......details tomorrow, I'm wore out. :)

Sounds like you had a good time. Which streamer did you use--zoo cougar?
How did that truck work out? Remember my buddy who smucked the deer in his new Chevy? They came up last weekend and his wife narrowly missed a doe with her new Saab--pretty funny.

uninhibited canoe bunnies :)
Its the only positive thing about the "aluminum hatch" up there. When limiting your caloric intake, eye candy is always filling.

The hot flies were a generic pattern I tie on salmon hooks.
tail: silver and white krystal flash
body: pearl core braid and/orice chennille
overwing: silver and white krystal flash
thread: white or orange
The locals were good and lit by noon, and jumped from the 33 bridge as their obese women cheered them on. I was asked to join, but declined due to what little common sense I have.
The two CBs treated me to the classic "Whose are better?" :xzicon_sm :dizzy:
As for deer, I couple just east of Lurzerne tested my after dark braking/swerving skills.
Mio Dam is a hydroelectric. There's a sign along the footpath that heads upstream from the launch.
I'll be back up there in a few weeks.

Nah, the best pics from this trip would have gotten me in a bunch of trouble.
Besides, I'll just drop it in the water.
