Well, figured i'd initiate branch county(had heard the rainfall was not as severe there) Without Walleye Wench..and flyin solo, my results remain the same.....wandered all over, casting a variety of things managed to take a handful of bass, together that wouldn't have made an honest 4 pounder...found a shallow area, picked up a few smaller gills and 1 runt perch...Watched a kid(shorts and barefooted) toting a spiderman or similar type outfit wading and walking the shore...not 10 minutes into me catching sight of him, he hooks into a bucket mouth that woulda pushed 3 pounds. Needless to say, I felt for him as it managed to snap the line...Other than that, lakes are as i remember..skiers,jet skiers and pleasure boaters abound..talked to a couple of gentlemen from ohio, they said in last 3 days they musta caught a hundred bass, with maybe 10 of keeper size.....They were using the 'gulp' worm as their bait of choice...............Was gonna head out again, but i see Walleye Mike has not fixed that spigot yet............I Will set it out a few more hours to see if this passes

Crankbaits out in the deeper weeds and fishing docks have been good in the past. There are some deep bass out in 15 to 25 feet that don't get hit as hard, but they are hard to find too.
