side note on Half moon chain

Anyone planning on launching onthe half moon chain sunday..CAN"T..they have some competition going on , and the boat launch at the state park will be closed to the 'general public' on sunday

You still have the launch at Bruin Lake campground and Highland Lake (I believe it's Highland) if your boat can make it under Hankerd Rd. and they don't close these launches as well.

Hankerd is a low bridge to begin with, and with all the rain we're having/getting this weekend it will be an even tighter fit. Might want to drive over and check it out.

Then are doing a triathlon this weekend so they probably have some of the lake closed to boat traffic also.
