Spincast reels

Does anyone have any suggestions on a spincast thats around $30? I don't think I'm going to get a Basspro Magna.. I'm looking at an Abu Garcia Abumatic Model 1076-C.. Suggestions?

Arin - STAY AWAY from BPS reels, they will dissapoint You!!! Read the other post, do Yourself a favor and learn how to fish with a spinning reel. You will be much happier in the future as Your fishing expertise grows :D . The drags on closed face reels as well as line twist problems are MAJOR problems :rant: . Good Luck - Bob WC#253.

I got two Diawa spincast -- the ones with the trigger. A waste of money. Going back to a light weight spinning reel. The spincasts don't feed line consistently and are hard to reel in. When they work though you can throw them a mile. Just a pain to me. Good Luck.

I haven't used a spincast for a while, but I wouldn't mind fooling around with one of the newer Zebco 33 Platinum reels. Lots of neat features for under $30.
