A friend and I were sitting at work this morning trying to find a place to buy a Canadian fishing license. This got me to think maybe I should by a Canadian license also, but to buy me and my wife a Canadian, an Ohio and a Michigan this would be very costly and trying to get them individually would be a pain. Then trying to keep track of them would be a problem ( I have a hard enough time trying to find my Mi in my wallet when I need to). This brings me to my point, why not come up with one license that covers Lake Erie. It could cover all of Lake Erie or just the Western Basin. What ever money is generated by that license it would be split between the agencies involved. One price, one license and fish anywhere on lake. You would still have to be aware of the boundries to abide by that states (or countries) laws and limits. I know there are probably many problems with this, but it would make it alot easier for the fishermen and women. Just a thought!!! What do you think.
