Island Lake Rec Area

Hello all,
I took the family out to Island Lake rec Area this last weekend for a little fishing. We cought lots of gills close to the I-96 bridge. We went further into the park and hit a few spots on the huron river, water was a little high....We didnt get a bite. What kind of fish are in this part of the huron?

I've caught bluegill, sunfish, rock bass, smallmouth, sucker and pike.

I've caught Walleyes & Crappies below the dam...and in a few holes down river.

we went a month ago and could see a billion trout! the only way to catch them was to throw some dynamite at them! lol...
