I use to have a a link to one of those websites in "my favorites" BTW they don't use a rod or reel for fish like that. They go noodling. Which consists of using your hands....... :yikes:

That cat picture has been circulating for quite a while now. The rumor was that it was caught in the Mississippi river but it is actually a European Wels catfish as Steve YPSI said. Its a big one never the less. Everytime I see that picture I have to laugh at how the Big buff dude is holding up the tail while the other guy is about to fall in the water trying to hold up the massive head and gut of that fish.

I got you guys covered on this one. I am probably going to be spending some time in Europe this summer with a friend, and we are going cat fishing! They are a European catfish commonly known as a Wells catfish. They reach lengths of up to 8ft and 300lbs. They either noodle, or use huge live baits, like a 6lb grass carp. Europe has some of the biggest freshwater fish you can imagine. Giant carp, cats, zander, pike.
A good website is www.fishing.pl it is all in Polish, but click foto on the right hand side and then click ryby to browse the pics.
Another cat site is http://www.corachaderio.co.uk

WOW!!!!!!!!!! :yikes:
Can't wait to hear the stories from Europe. It is a great place to vacation. If you go to the right countries you get treated like king and queens by the locals. I had a great time in Netherlands. Would go back in a heart beat. Hopefully you can find some big cats like the one shown.
Enjoy!!!

Did you check out those coffee shops over there :D
Yes the shops were great. Especially the ones with glass windows for seeing thru. I also like the smell coming out of some of the shops. Or the crack addicts on the street were interesting. Either way would be back in heart beat or a puff.....

I don't know but from the looks of your avatar, maybe you should take some time off, I'll take your place :D
Have not touched the stuff in my life. But it was sure different seeing it in the local coffe shop. We seem to be in left field compared to the Europe ways. I will gladly take some time off. I am i need after these 50+ hours per work week. Starting to catch up on me.
