two tier fishing, not my cup o tea!

fished local lake, two tiered fishery..spent as much time adding and removing shot to fish required depth...duh, couple dinks unworthy of mention...walleye wench managed a Splake, it came on an f-7 flatfish,pearl colored in 20 foot depth..........outfished again, i was..even tried an(esox) paul trick..tried fishing with protective tubing on hooks...still no strikes....ah, today has to b better!..lol

GEEZ they wouldn't hit a bait with tubing on the hooks? What's this world coming to? I havent fished a Flatfish in a couple of years, I should figure out where I put those things. If you don't hear from me for a week or so, send a search party into the tackle room in my basement. Make sure they tie on a life line before making the decent,,,,

rough day, paul....i'm in same shape, been reading the posts on lure painting..have to find a bunch of those small clatter tads in silver i bought years ago..thinking adding color may help...i need the help!...lol
