Det riv Sat - 3 man limit

Jigged american side of Detroit river near Peche saturday from 9Am-1PM. Three guys ended up with 15 eyes. Caught ten between 11:30 an 1PM. Fishing was hot at the end, but had limit and had to go.

Thanks for the river report. I was going to head out Sat. evening but the weather was too questionable. What did you use; minnows, crawlers or plastics?

Were you fishing close to the large river channel marker or further down the river? I have fished that spot many times with limited success. I have always had better results on the Canadian side of the island. How deep?

Most of the fish were caught near Garwood in 23'-24'.

Gar Woods named after the guy who kept his racing boat there....it used to be a boat house but they tore it down and made aprtments near it....just south of the trailer park on the american side
