Kalamazoo lakes?

I just moved to Kalamazoo and need some suggestions on where to find some good water i can fish from shore or wade. Targeting bass, pike, gills, etc/whatever.

Try Austin Lake off of Portage Road, from the Park or the boat launch. Plenty of bass to be caught on top water and soft plastics. You can fish all the way around the point at the boat launch from shore and catch fish. In the park there are two fishing piers where you can catch bass and also the creek is sometimes good for bass.
