 I think I'm going to change my screen name to THE ANTI-WALLEYE. Five hours with hardly a bite. Took the tip off a crawler, that's it. My lousy luck even rubbed off on my son. He only got a smallie, a perch and a sheepshead.
I tried high, low, fast, slow, close, far back, and every color I had in the boat.
Oh well, maybe next time.
This is getting embarassing.

Tin can and myself only ended up with 3 eyes and and 2 nice size perch. All the wood in the water made me kinda shy to move around. all in the Genos/ Metro area. most in 10 to 12 fow. It was great chatting with Hotwired/miketheelder and others from the site.

We heard you guys out there.
Sure was spotty though. We ended up with 4 and all of them came within 1/4 mile square. Thanks to KF and his navigational skills, we were able to stay on them until the boats pushed us out.
And no Marc, you just can't push the small boats out of your way...LOL
Good thing Chromium talked him out of it.

Well guy's, it took most of the day but ended up with a two man limit, nothing came easy today :dizzy: We got back just before the storm hit :yikes: 12 to 14 ft.of water, lime green was my best bait today. Had a real nice muskie on for 10 minutes, was able to get it to the back of the boat until it broke the line, I would have to say it was in the high twenty's. All in all a great day on the pond ;)

Ralf, thanks for a great morning on the water...Man, I hate those pesky little boats that take your spot when they see your net in the water... There wasn't anyone fishing the area I was working until our net hit the water a couple times. We were trolling a North/South pattern and he was going East/west....the idiot even had the gull to say..."Hey, I just boated two fish here"..........
I have no problem with peeps sharing a spot, but they should at least troll the same pattern so everyone can have some fun.....
