BB leader length question

Hey Guys,

Sounds like everyone is doing pretty good on the eyes out by Ginos. I have a quick question....how long of leaders are you running off the bottom bouncers? Any help would be great, thinking of going out Saturday afternoon or Sunday.

i fish a lot of bouncers in st. clair and erie although not too often by metro,but most leads we run are in the 27-36 inch range. when we run spoons off them run them 5 feet back.at metro weeds are a problem. try a quarter to half ounce egg sinker instead of a bouncer.hold the rod so the rig just tics the weeds.much more effective and weed free. I tie all my harnesses at 36".

There is really no correct length because all of them will work. Mine are at 5-6 feet.

What weight do you use on the bottom bouncers? How far back from the boat do you run the line? What speed do you troll?
