How's the Spillway launch?

Lookin to launch from the DNR launch by the spillway on Sat morning. Launching a 19' with an I/O. I heard it was closed for a while.

Its fine, tho alittle shallow. 2-2.5ft for about 100ft or so.

Launched my buddies 18ft. basscat in search of eyes there last tuesday. Depth was ok but the one side of the ramp has a pile of sludge they dragged out blocking it. Don't think you'll have any problems though, as we were coming in a 25ft. shamrock w/a was launching and didn't have any problems at all.

I have seen some pretty big trailers parked in the lot, but haven't been on the lake yet. Keep her trimed up and you should be ok.

Were you guys out by the weedbed were everyone was Icefishing or closer to the beach.

One major tip - DO NOT get downwind of that pile of sludge they dumped just to the south of the ramps. I may never get my sense of smell back after that.
