Really tough day on the water. Between the wind, mud, and the rain, me and my partner managed 11. Changed colors frequently (light and dark) and there wasn't really anything that outproduced the rest. Talked to a few other boats out there and the most I saw was 2. We caught all of our fish in 13 fow with the temp being 65 degrees. Good luck!!

Ken, you are a machine. Let me know when you run out of freezer space. I'm always willing to help out a fellow M-S member.:)

bounty hunter, it was stained pretty good. I would say around a foot of visibility.

ESOX, I always thought you didn't like those things because they are not Muskies.

Hey there Ken nice job on the walleye way to go.. Mike the reason he dont fish the river is because he waiting for me to invite him again :-).. Us three need to get togeather again and catch as as many if not more the last time we went out togeater.. I hate to say it but we cant get togeather this weekend because the wife wants to go, and she is getting mighty stingy with her space on the boat :-)..

Mike good luck on the marble eye tourny, I will be on the river and in my spot just as the sun is coming up and I will have it on channel 68 this time.. Cya Slick

IFN, I very rarely fish the river and when I do its usually only handlining. I don't know the whippin thing that well so I try to stay away from things that I will really embarrass myself with. :bash: As far as jigging during the day goes, I don't have a small kicker or an electric so boat control is impossible for me.

Ken, what type of rig were you using? Were you trolling or drifting?

Thanks,

Marc

Can't eat muskie. I am actually a closet walleye fisherman in the winter and spring. I just am not very good at it. Have to do something when muskie season is closed.

Marc, I was trolling with bb's around 1.1-1.4 mph. 1 oz on the sides and 3 oz off the back, 7 of the fish came off the 1 oz rigs.
