marine city help

I'm heading up to marine city tommorow for the first time ever jigging any help would be greatly appreciated. Would it be better to try around Marine City or move up toward Marysville?

Beagle, the recent MWT event was won at Marine City jigging - mostly downstream from the power plant. The area also gave up good baskets running spinners downsstream using bottom bouncers and the bowmount. On the other hand, Marysville is also stacked up with fish, albeit a bit smaller. On Sunday morning at Marysville, we had our five fish tournament limit in the boat within 15 minutes of arrival. See my "St Clair River Report" for more details.

Thanx Tom, didn't get to read your reply until I got back. Did manage 5 nice fish. According to everyone that I talked to up that way it wasn't too bad. One of the guys I talked to was the guy and his partner who won the MWT event and they only got two fish today. They were loading their boat when I was loading mine.
