Fished the Detroit River on May 17 from Wyandotte upstream to the A. Bridge. We were jigging and only managed 1 walleye. We did not see a walleye netted all day. Most locations we were not even marking fish. Guys I talked to at the launch had similar results; 1-2 fish.
