I have been checking this sight for a couple years now, but have only been fishing for about 4 years. It takes some time to figure out enough about fishing and the lingo that goes along with it to feel like you want to post a thread. Just reading the information on this sight helps with all that. Anyway, heading up to Rice Lake over Memorial day and figured that after the trip I may have a fun story or fishing info to share.

Plugs,

Welcome to the site.

Are you going to Rice Lake in Ontario? If so, I fished there once back in 1992. At least at that time, it was an excellent lake for panfish.

Thanks for all the responese. I am heading to Rice lake in Ontario, and from what I hear, will hopefully catch a couple hundred panfish fish over the long weekend coming up. I don't have a digital camera, but one of the guys heading up with me does and I just loaded up on regular film.

For Hunter333 I just moved to Zeeland last year from the Cascade area, so I hope to be visiting Muskegon Lake more often this summer and some of ther others in the area. I stopped at Duck lake last year on a whim and did OK. Seemed like it might be worth going back to.

Welcome aboard this fine Michigan-Sportsman.com party barge. It's great to see more West Siders coming into the site. GR is my hometown, but I've lived up here since '72.
