Friday 5/7 West Michigan eye

Hooked up with flyfisher in my boat to a west Michigan port. We had to wait out the t storms a bit, then motored out to the pierheads and anchored just outside the pier out of the wind (kind of) The easterly 10-15 forcasted became 15-25 which made it difficult to feel the bait. I still ended up getting a couple bumps and landing a beautiful 31 1/4" 9.6 lber in real nice shape. Thanks for joining me Rick, we'll pick a better night next time.

Thanks, Tim...it was nice to get out. Glad I didn't knock your fish off at the net....more surprising was that it stayed on while wrapped around the anchor rope. Lets hope for nicer weather next time, or at least less "breezy". Didn't make it out today as I had hoped :banghead3 , mostly due to the "honey do's" :whistle: ...would have been a beautiful afternoon to troll around!
