Well...
After a successful outing during the day on the big lake for salmon...
Kings for a Day (http://www.michigan-sportsman.com/forum/showthread.php?p=533455#post533455)
I unloaded the salmon gear... and loaded up the walleye goodies to take advantage of the benign evening/night conditions. I picked up my buddy Denny and headed to one of them there West Michigan ports. :D
Lo and behold... Wally was still home... and he was still HUNGRY!! :woohoo1:

Note yardstick at top (which can barely be seen) for size comparison.
We anchored up... limbered up the ol' arms... and eventually ended up 8 for ??? on the night with all fish being 6-7 lbs. up to about 10 lbs. We both lost 3 or 4 fish each that we had hooked up. And then there were the numerous other light bumps that did not hook up.
On the menu for the night was the HJ14 Rapala Husky Jerk in the clown and blue/silver colors... and the HJ12 Husky Jerk in the blue/silver caught some fish for my partner. Again... a SLOW steady retrieve did the trick.
Once again I was lucky enough to hookup (and land) the biggest fish of the night. Here is my 31 incher. I did not get it weighed... but would guess-timate it to be aproaching 10 pounds! :yikes:

All in all... another fantastic night on the water with good friends and great fishing.
