My brother and I met up over the launch site for the Saginaw R at the mouth. We first motored up stream hopeing to bottom bounce our way back to the mouth but the wind was blowing us up river instead of down.
Had a couple hits on a crawler, but I think that was something other than a walleye becuase it was taking of chuncks.
Were able to get out onto the Bay and followed some other guys out to the island and that is where we played for a while. We trolled rapalas and shad raps of different colors and sizes without a single hit.
We talked about shooting over to the Tibby, but stayed on the sagnasty for the remainder of the evening. We talked to one guy who showed us where to anchor and throw our jigs when it starts to get dark. We did this after he left and I hooked one walleye, but that was it. Him and his buddies in another boat cleaned house in maybe 1hr or so.
That will probally be my last walleye trip unless the winds are down and we can make it out on the bay again with my brothers 14' boat. Headed over to the in-laws cabin for the weekend and some trout :D
