Just missed the skunk tonight on the Bay. Had the same clients I took 10 days ago when we caught 8 and thought we were going to kill them tonight. I had a friend that limited out on Monday night in short order and that gave me that cocky (can't miss) attitude at the ramp when we met this afternoon.

Yup, "we may even be off the water before dark even gets here" I announced. Well, from 5:30pm to 9:45pm tonight, we never had a touch. And as far as I could see nobody else did either. Didn't see one net or anybody even standing up in the 3 different crowds of boats we trolled through.

I'm kinda wondering whats going on between Hoyles and Nayonquin Point though. Man, there been a flotilla of boats over there the last few times I've been out. And they simply keep circling in that same spot.

I was about to give the boys a discount when the inside rods clicker snaped me out of my trance. This first fish was about a 4 pounder and number two was close behind. This second fish was 8 pounds or better. The one guy I took is a huge man, so the fish loses some visual points with him in the background. We ended up going 3 for 4 by 10:30pm, which was 3 better than I tought we were going to do.

good deal walleye express. I've had them nights also, going to the same spot the following day that my buddys just killed em, same lures and baits...... and NADA. I HATE when i get outwitted by an animal that has the brain the size of a peanut! LOL.

By the looks of most of the other reports from yestersay and my own included, it was a slow day for most...Even though it was a "good" wind shift (northwest to south), I think it shut 'em down...Just a guess

I totally agree Connor.

Even though the wind seemed SE all day on shore, when we got out yesterday afternoon is was dead EAST. The water temp (51 degrees) to my surprise, was 2 degrees colder than it was 10 days ago when we did so good. Only after the wind shifted at around 8:30 to the South did the water temp warm almost 2 degrees and the fish started hitting. Of course by then, it was time to call it a night.
