Went out near Turtle Island today and ended the morning with 8 walleye's. This was the slowest day I have had this year, but still better than being at work.

6 on harnasses, and 2 on blade baits.

The wind picked up pretty good while we were out there, and it ended up being a rough ride in.

Hey jay do ya think they are moving out north east yet. I would like to get a crack at them one more time befor I gota make that long run to west sister. :( When we were out last weak the water was about 57* in the shallow (7-9) water. All the males we got were squirting milk.

captain J...I hope to be out there Friday and Saturday...If you don't mind sharing info...were you drifting the harnesses behind bouncers? What colors, depth, speed? South or north of the channel? Thanks.

Silver apinners and green or red beads was the ones that got fish. We were just drifting with bell sinkers, keeping it right on bottom. We were drifting with one sock out.

We were on the North side of the channel, but not far from it. In 9 to 11 feet of water. The water temperature was 52. A little colder than I expected.

I think they have moved off the reefs for the most part. If It wasn't so rough we would have moved out a little deeper and tried it out there, but we had enough problems fighting the waves where we were.

FINS........Let me know when your coming over, and we will set it up. I will be on Bay de Noc from the 14th through the 21st. Come on up, and I'll get you out there.
