Anybody going to LBDN...

:bonk: Heading to little bay de noc again this year. Almost didn't go because of the luck we had last year. I was wondering if anybody else goes on the opener. It seemed like the fishing was not all that good and the crouds were bad. Took a hour to launch if everything went well and nobody screwed around in front of us. We are waiting till the 18th to go hoping alot for the croud is gone.

I'll be at Sall-Mar's resort right on the Rapid River. 22' blue Lund parked out back. Stop in and say "hi".

I'll be out on Big Bay de Noc for the UP opener. No crowds there. TEN MORE DAYS, cant wait.

I'll be heading up next friday and will be up all week. We are stayind at the Vagabond, I can't wait either. We did fairly well last year. Try after dark.

I've never fished the opener, actually, I really don't start fishing it until early August. I then try to make the drive about once every three weeks clear up through Ice-up. Sometimes I'll miss a few weekends to hunt Grouse and Pheasants, but otherwise, I can hear those Walleye's calling my name :whistle: ESPECIALLY during the November full moon

Hey BigG just make sure you bring me my dollar for the first fish!
I've been stocking up on "secret weapons" all week long.So I think I'm ready. If we can get the wind and rain to subside we should be alright.

Its funny that you mention the full moon in November. The avatar in my posts is Ogontz bay last November. It was an eclipse that night as well. What an awesome sight.
