Well, we fished the Tibby today in almost flood stage conditions. The water was as high on the ramp as it could get, without being legally declared in the parking lot. I guess not really flood stage but high by any standards.

But we caught a variety of fish and some were real monsters. We caught Pike, Walleyes, White Bass, Carp and Smallies. Had one walleye and one pike that got off that were both impressive sizes. But the whites we caught today were awsome. And their fight was awsome as well. Heres some pictures. Notice the one picture up near the Dow Spillway. The water level was almost level with the upper river. Thats high and that cooking current wise.

That is definatly some high water. Look at the shore line in the first pic, their is a walk/driveway that runs right next to river, and that is under.

Was thinking about fishing the tibby weds, but do to lack of reports, decided not too. Maybe a reconsideration is in affect

Sweet! Would that white bass qualify for a master angler? Thats one of the bigger ones I have seen.

Spent alot of time there pulling up Eyes, Cats and Silver Bass when I lived in Larkin Twsp.

That road runs down from the CGV right?

How was the launch downstream?

Mallard.

The white in the first picture was 17 1/2 inches long. I'd say honestly we caught about 15 that same size today. I've personally never seen that many giant whites in one day before on the river. And man can they crank when they hit a casted Floating Shad Rap.

And the water at the ramp downstream was just touching where the parking lot and the top of the ramp meets.
