I have a group( 10) that wants to do a fall trip to Burt for EYE'S. I have never fished this lk. but have heard it's a great eye lake. Area's to fish -jigging-trolling.
best time for burt in fall, our dates are open
We are looking at October some time? also looking for a resort that might have 3 to 5 cabins for a group of 8-10.

Don't know of a place to stay but that shouldn't be to hard to find that time of year. Time: mid to late October. Fishing: Maple Bay and Bullhead Bay which are on the northwest side of lake where the Maple River and Crooked River flow in are fall spots for eyes and perch, access at Maple Bay campground. Mostly jigging but others may have some input on other tactics. Enjoy.

Hooter,
There are no fish up here...stay home. Just kidding. If I were planning a trip in October, (which I am, but to LBDN in November) I would say either focus the trip around the moon phase or the last week in October. As the previous post stated, Maple Bay/Bullhead Bay seem to produce well, but don't miss the action to be had up by Greenman's Point (Hoppies). If you need help with accomodations, send me a PM and I can give you some #'s of local resorts. Include what price range you would like per man / per day. Check out this link as well.
