Put a boat in at Victory Park Launch and almost didn't get out.......They put in another piece of cement and at the end there is about a FOOT drop off.....if your trailer drops off you might need a wrecker to get out........
Vistory Park? Where's that located at?
Do you mean Wilson Hill? .....the city park.
I know there is a DNR launch on south bayou and the DNR launch in the state park.
I know there is the one in the North Bayou as well but never heard of Victory Park.

We come from 31 on the Fountain Rd......when it turns into Angling Rd. we go straight West for another hundred yards and turn North on Victory Park Rd......Go on it for abour 3/4 miles and drop down a large hill to the park.....don't know about much because we live in Evart and just come over to shoot Carp and Dogfish.............Do you know where this place is and do you know of any other places that we could do any shooting.....like to do it away from houses. I don't know who runs this park.....State or County.........thanks for the reply Hal

Hey "ABA" - Victory Park is a small township park located on Upper Hamlin approx. 1 1/2 miles East of Wilson Hill Park. It's a "rustic" launch site that is located on the extremely weedy headwaters of Hamlin. By early summer, that portion of the lake becomes almost unnavigatable because of the heavy weeds.

Almost forgot...welcome to the site!
LOL @ Evart ....... I went high school in Evart. Small world.
Yeah I know which launch it is. Man I totaly forgot about that launch.
There is alot of shallow waters on Hamlin good for both Carp and Bowfin but upper Hamlin is propably the best on the lake. There are some shallow weedy bayou's along the far west side of the main lake you could try.
I've seen a few bowfin in lost lake as well.
If you live in Evart and your looking for some awsome bowfin and carp fishing
I highly recomend Hardy Pond...... it is loaded with Carp. Maybe I should say it's infested.
