Going there in July for one day and need to know what the best places to ride are from the Chateau Lodge. Is it worth trailering down to the southwest trails? Beginning to think not too many folks venture up this far(I'm sure that's the way the locals like it!)

Kazoo,
We do get a lot of riders up here on the holidays. And it can get pretty harey riding the trails. The locals don't mind it is good for the economy. There is two campgrounds nearby too.

Thanks again,Sportsman, for helping us out. Do you know any of your friends that have ridden the Bummers(SE) ORV trail or the Red Bridge ORV trail on the SW end of the lake? Was just curious what these trails were like as compared to the north(Cheboygan) trail we'll be taking(which is fine with us).I will forward Poker run map/info as soon as it is availiable. We'll probably roll into Hulbert @ 9-10 o'clock Fri. a.m. If you hear anything about the Tomahawk system, let me know. Looking forward to meeting up with you, John
