Having been on this board for the last 4 years, I guess its time for me to intorduce myself...Many of you I have allready met at many of the outings..gosh they are a great time.

My name is Mark, I haved lived in Coloma for the last 15 years. I am getting old turning 43 this year. I have been married for 22 years to a gal that I still consider my best friend. She may not have all the passion that I have for the outdoors, but she has always supported me 100%. We have 2 wounderfull kids, Shawn is 21 and attends Western full time, Stef is 20 and attends Lake Michigan and will be transferring to California this fall.

As you can see from my screen name, I am in the Insurance field. I am part of a very large insurance company on their National Catastrophe Team. In essence, I travel to about every natural disaster known to man except for floods. I have been in this business for 22 years and it has been very good to me. Prior to joining the National team, I was an adjuster specializing in fire losses for the same company.

My main outdoor hobbys are fishing. I have given up the hunting for good about 6 years ago as it interfered with my fishing. I still support the hunting sports, but just lost interest in it...the thrill went away.

My main passion in fishing is Ice fishing and big lake trolling in that order. I will travel the state to get on the water. I get the the biggest kick out of fooling a fish to bite the offerings that seem so un-natural to the surroundings.

I have met and formed many friends from this site and hope to continue to do so in the days to come.

Enjoy the outdoors and be safe!

Mark

Hi Mark,
It goes without saying that I'm glad you're aboard. You bailed me out of a problem I had a few months ago. I still owe you one for that. As I said at the time, if you ever get up this way and want to wet a line, let me know.

Mark,
Welcome to MS! This is an excellent place to relax, lay back (but not too far, ya won't be able to use the keyboard) and mingle with friends.

If you are a big lake troller I'd suggest that you keep an eye on the Outings Forum. There are many get-togethers during the year, with a great Labor Day weekend fun tourney out of Manistee. This annual event is a great time and offers the opportunity to meet the guys on the site.

I always enjoy a glimpse of our membership's personal side, especially when it's a long-time member.

Thanks for sharing, and thanks for being here!
