Sucks!! It takes forever to load a page now. Us dial-up guys hate it. It takes about 30 seconds per page to load at a 56k hookup. I used to be able to fly around the site, now I'm here for an hour just trying to check my usual forums. BOOOO!!!!! :(

Also was wondering..... is there a place to see the newest new member name? What about showing whether or not a member is online by their name in a post?

Hunter333,
the newest member is still there. It has just moved down below the current members section in the Michigan Sportsman Statistics section. It's down at the bottom of the forums page.
As far as being able to see if a member is online, that is also still available. It is the green or white state of Michigan next to the member name. If it is white, they're not online. If it is green, they're online.

I like the new look of the forum. However, I'm also on a dial up connection, and it now takes about twice as long to visit every spot I used to look at. On a good day my 56k modem connects at 21.6k or 24k. That's one of the perks you get when living in the country, poor phone lines, and no access to any high speed internet. Yes, there is the high priced satellite internet, but it has it's problems. I now find that I'm able to read the whole morning paper, instead of just half of it, while I'm waiting for the web pages to load.

Rasdale, we may make a user selectable style available that is text only. This would make things scream. I would like to use it myself when I'm at remote locations with a dial up.

That
Would indeed make a huge difference , Steve - as I am on DialUp too , and it does take much longer to load pages .
I'm not paying for "DireCRobbery"© , either ~ not until they get REAL on the price.... ($600 for equip & $60/Mo. serv)
