WAS WONDERING HOW FAR OFF OF THE BASF WALL DO MOST PEOPLE JIG, I KNOW THAT IT CAN VARY. LAST WEEKEND I SPENT ABOUT 5 HOURS IN FRONT OF THE STEEL MILL W/ NO SUCCESS AND I TRIED IN FRONT OF THE BASF WALL FOR ABOUT 20 MINUTES UNTIL MY TROLLING MOTOR BATTERY DIED WITH ONE HOOK-UP. PLANNING ON GOING TONIGHT AFTER WORK, ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Ive caught them 5 feet off the wall in the early spring and over to the other side by fighting isl. towards the middle and end of spring. In other words that whole stretch from the wall to the bouys is GREAT!!! When the males show up in numbers, you can limit out in one pass there. Start just above wynadotte launch all the way down almost to the bend. Say yes to " brown rubber worm.

MUSHY1 , when I fish Lake Saint Clair I do well using a 3 way with White rubber worms by Power bait in the Walleye sent. They are near impossible to find. Is there a brand or sent of brown rubber worm that works well for you?

Hey ed, call steve Lyle at wyandotte boat ramp, tell him big chris sent you, he sells them in 10 packs or by the hundred. I dont know who makes them but I buy them by the hundred for I think about 8 or 9 bucks. They seem to be the best for down there, tried different kinds, without the same results. It must be a confidence thing. CATCH SOME SLOBS!!!!!!

Are these brown rubbers the ones with the paddle tail? I bought them at the tackle store near the Wyondotte launch years ago and cannot find them anywhere...
They are the best hands down.

$8 or $9 FOR 100? thats better then $1.50 for 5 worms. I should buy them that way. I don't need 100 if somebody wants to split I would be happy to.

last year I did great using the new Berkley Gulp 6" nightcrawler in pumkinseed. I would pinch off about 2" from the head and use the 4" end with the tail. They are plastic free and 100% biodegradable.
