Who's going to the detroit river

Well it looks like I will have fri, sat, sun, and mon off this weekend and I have not fished the river yet. I was thinking we should have some sort of a outing? It would be nice to meet some of you and maby figure out the walleyes one day this weekend. Is any one interested?

Anybody going out of Trenton in the morning? I'm leaving at 5:00am and hope to be there by 6:15. I will be in a 16.5 foot Starcraft with a 40 Johnson. Stop by and say hello. We should be pulling wire or may jig for a bit.

Well I had a small accidant at work wednesday and ended up with 4 nice chunks of metal in my left eye. Had them removed thursday at he hospital and now I dont think I will be out till maby monday. Good luck to all that go and maby I will SEE ya out there monday.

gonna try for monday here also...Worked today, and will work tomorrow, then going to the Wings game...Sunday is the Wifes day...so...If I get everything done on Sunday...I'll fish on Monday..

eric , you are the only other lowe owner besides me that i have found on this site. I also usually launch out of st. jean as i posted wed. any chance you have an extra spot monday? I need to fish ,but hate hauling my boat alone. I don't like fishing weekends because of familiy duties , but it is hard to find weekday partners . my kid is 12 and loves to go with me, but I hesitate to take him in cold water days as my only crew. heat seeker out

My eye is day by day right now and I am not sure if I will go. But if I do I will be in a gray tracker tundra, I will listen to ch.68 give me a yell if your there. My plan is to move all over the river untill I find active fish. I dont think I will fish trenton, sounds like there are too many people trying there and I never do well in a larger grope like that. double trouble.

I just got a partner, actually two.

They have jigged the river for the past forty years and know the spots. I heard that the guy they usually fish, with his boat is in for service and they were looking for someone to take them out. So I made a call.

In return they would show me there hot jigging spots.

If I would have read your reply an hour ago, you would have been welcome to the extra seat.

I love this this little LOWE, I have only seen one other like it.
