CLINCH PARK: Boat launch earns a makeover
But it won't be expanded
TRAVERSE CITY - The city has started its revamp of the public boat ramp at Duncan L. Clinch Marina - fulfilling a promise made four years ago to boaters.
"At one point, we thought about closing (the boat launch)," city manager Richard Lewis said. "But the more we looked at it, the more we realized we had to have it. I did a 180-degree turn."
