I purchased one for my grandpa's boat last summer at BoatUS when they went out of business here in GR. It was 50% of retail so I couldn't turn it down.
It's a very slick little unit. Personally, if I hadn't gotten such a great deal I'd have bought two seperate units. You can buy a Garmin 162 GPS and an Eagle 320x320 finder for not a whole lot more. It's nice to have both the full GPS chart and the full sounder in the window IMO.
If you're low on space to mount electronics or money is tight and the $100 in price difference is important, it's a very nice combo unit.

BTW, I really like the Standard Horizon GPS units too. I think you can get one of those for around $200 on Ebay, and a 320x320 fish finder with dual frequency is under $200 as well.

Space was the issue for me. I needed a better fishfinder than the one that came with the boat originally and I definitely wanted a good GPS. Both in one unit was perfect for me. GPS works great and it came with two CD's, U.S. Waterways and Lights, and the other is Fishing Hot Spots. Bass Pro Shops.
The fishfinder is capable but it's no Bottom Line or one of the other big screen ones. I'm still learning to use it however so I can't give you a concrete answer. I fish Lake St. Clair most of the time so I look for bottom change and structure rather than fish themselves. I'd like to have an option to change transducers whenever I want but I don't know of any fishfinders that do that very well.
Final word: I'm happy with my purchase.
