Walleye in Detroit river

Anyone know about when the walleye on the detroit river will start to run heavy. Fished for 4 hours on friday and saturday night 10-2 both nights. caught one walleye from shore :mad: . I could also use some pointers on fishing walleyes from shore. thanks.

Years ago I use to do well from the banks at Elizabeth Park....Get there early though, as it can get quite crowded once the silver bass move in....
