well it was suggested I come here to introduce myself so here I am Im Chuck and I live in grand rapids and am new to trout fishing. I basicly came to the site to get all the GOOD advice that i could on where to go in west Mi. and what to use and all that stuff. Its hard to believe Im 40 and am just starting trout fishing.

Not so hard to believe on the trout fishing. I'm 38 and just took up trapping.(and hooked on it) If it wasn't for new adventures life would be over after marriage.:D :D Jody

If stream trout fishing is your interest I'd suggest that you learn to fish smaller creeks and apply those lessons to the larger streams.

Were you born and raised in GR? West Side perhaps?
