Did anybody see the kid at george's speech that was on letterman? He couldn't stop yawning, stretching, cracking his neck, looking at his watch, etc. Of course letterman had this to a title of GWB energizing america's youth. :) It was on the local news tonight and I couldn't stop laughing!

I guess letterman put it on his show saying it was from CNN. CNN then said it was a fake because the white house complained to them about it, but later said they were wrong and it wasn't a fake. (Gotta love the facts that the white house thinks speeches should be censored so that anything that could be construed to make the pres look bad doesn't air and that CNN doesn't even know what's real and fake even when they made the tape.)

I taped without a trace (wasn't able to watch the start) and forgot to stop the VCR, so I have it on VHS. I'll transfer the video to the PC if people here want to see it (and somebody will provide web space to host the movie file). The anchors were even cracking up and making jokes! "There's a little do-it-yourself chiropractic work..." :D

The bad thing is CNN first sad that the white house said the kid wasn't there then the next reporter said the white house said the kid was there but not behind the president. Then it comes out that the White house never made any comment to CNN and in the end CNN admitted they had never had contact with the White House and they were sorry. Dave has been hitting CNN every night this week on this. The reporter told Dave last night that she was sorry that she gave out the wrong info and would be willing to come on his show to do some silly human trick. It Just shows CNN makes up some of their news.

Why? Just because listening to him talk is about as interesting as watching a turnip sprout? ;)

Pretty funny. One of the other networks (can't remember which one) reported that Letterman's gig was taken of the boy over a 3-1/2 hour span. There were more than a few speakers, and the boy was supposedly on stage for a long time. Either way it's funny.

CNN's "reporting" has been extremely bias and editorialized of late, and why I don't watch them anymore.
