I have been hitting all the mouths and rivers around, haven't seen or hooked a dang thing. Anyone have any positive feedback? I am going to give it an honest shot this weekend if the weather is the way they say it will be, the skiing is going to suck.

Caught one steel today on a river and a lot of undersized rainbows on another. try the bubbler if you have a boat or eventually wade out there.

Well thanks, things are looking up with the weekends melt. I hooked 4 in the last two days. Can't land 'em, but can't complain there, they are too big! I saw one landed yesterday too. see you out there

Well my marquette area skunkedness lasted about an hour. Went out after class and caught a nice brown on a spoon. I'll only say that I was fishing in the biggest Lake in North America when the fish struck.

And because of PikeDevil I will now aimlessly wade into the big lake untill i catch something

this guy had to be 200 yards out and in a spot i've never seen anyone and yet still gets an awesome brown within an hour

That brown would not have had any water to swim up anyway! Great fish. Have caught a few there as well.
Nothing beat the mouth of the Chocolay though. It is all private land, so unless you have a canoe can't get there. However I will say this there is a two NMU professors married to each other that live right there and have access stay after class and they might just give you access it worked for me.
