well Gollly .....i will second that
He looks like one of those paper mache' Mardi Gras heads.
When I see all those pics of him hanging out with the Kennedys in his youth, he looks like a starry eyed little weasel.
I can't even begin to express my distaste for the Kennedys.
Lincoln????
Abraham or Logs;)

Gee - that's interesting. Kerry looks like someone who has actually honorably served his country. He looks like someone who didn't go running to his daddy for a favored son appointment to a branch of the service with no threat of harm to himself. He looks like someone who sacrificed, who risked his life, to do his national duty.
When this photo of Kerry was being taken, betcha George W. Bush was drinking beer stateside.
The picture is a picture of our next president taken when he was a young man HONORABLY serving our nation.

a branch of the service with no threat of harm to himself That statement shows just how little you know of the National Guard and Reserve members who serve our country.
Ever wonder what happened to the man who had to replace Skerry on his swift boat after he left because of 3 boo boos that he wrote himself up for medals for? I do.

At a time in history, when NO ONE could get into the Gaurd due to the war in Nam... Once again spout the party line. Hey if you say it enough people will start believing it.
I have 2 friends that "got into the Guard" at that same time and by most standards their families would have been classified as lower middle class. I also know 3 other people from our hometown that "got into the Guard" at that time. Amazingly as safe as the Guard was back then one of them has his name on The Wall in Washington. Boy talk about special treatment.

I have to admit that I do see some similarities about the pictures, the hat etcetera. I don’t know how to post pictures . So in all fairness why don’t someone post a picture of Geo W Bush beside Alfred E. Newman from Mad Magazine ?

If it is true that Kerry put himself up for medals, then I just lost what little respect that I had for him.

You mean the same Kerry who called his fellow countrymen baby killers.
You mean the same Kerry who while protesting threw military metals on the ground, the Kerry who threw SOMEONE ELSE'S metals away, but kept his own?
I just spent 2 hours on a flight sitting next to a Texas Guardsman. Spit on a Guardsman, and you spit on the military and all of us. These people in "avoiding military service" in his unit are in Afganistan. One has lost his law practice due to being overseas for a year, and is requesting an extension of service.
Read the thread I started about Kerry's flip-flops proven in the Congressional Record. Oh, and if my statements above haven't swayed you, listen to Kerry himself. It's the purpose of his speach recorded below. Happy reading!

To be totaly honest he reminds me of one of the dead that has returned ot live from Night of the Living Dead.
You know one of the ones in a suit and not half deteriated yet.
As far as the Military service goes. I think a TON of citizens would be surprised to find out just how many times a congresman or senator can and will get involved with a military persons service. It could be for nothing more than a letter or phone call from a parent or relative or even a neighbor or friend. When I served I seen it happen several times on bases I was on.
Granted we may have had more cases due to it being Inteligence but it happened I am willing to say at least once a year. It was not always for the good though sometimes it was to get a person out, or once it was to actually get a person IN!!!
As far as Kerry goes I hope he takes a return trip to Nam to see his buddies. I hope he NEVER dishonors the WWII vets or Normandy by going there.
Lastly our President has flown into harms way to be with the troops in Iraq. Where has the military's possible future leader been flying into? IOWA hmm I bet that is a dangerous journey. Heck I never seen a scary thing there other than the ice on the highways when I was a truck driver.
As a senator he could have gone to Iraq already to show his leadership. Ooops I forgot he is against the war he voted for us to get into. Oh wait it was he voted to threaten not go to war. No wait he thinks it is good Sadam is gone but that we should not have done it the UN should have. Oh no the UN is the people who should have decided what to do.
See a pattern of a fence sitter until he is forced to decide an dthen he decides and jumps back up again and waits to see if it was the right side to go to. If not he goes the other side and say sNo it was not me or hey the kid next to me pushed me it wasn't my fault I fell.
