Fished 3 days in a row now, the water is getting a little cleaner everyday...I have caught 8 walleye in the last 24 hrs...There are many fish in there and the water is dropping at a steady rate. I saw pleanty of people in all the normal hot spots...All were catching fish...Even had a couple guys come from Holland and 2 from Muskegon to fish the Tit.
What I found working....During Daylight I was using a shadow technique with darker colored lures...5pm on Orange and Chartruese...Going today after I get my work done at home...
Good Luck to all.......Any reports for the Saginaw by way of Boat?

Walleye I am curious as to what you are useing.
We fished from Midland down to Saginaw from the bank in a good number of places today. we never seen a fish caught or had a strike.
We were trying Jig heads and soft Bodies, and some raps and other items. Not one lousy hit.
glad to see someone was doing better than us.
We noticed the river begin to rise again this afternoon. No tsure what tomorrow will be like. No worry I will not waste my time after all they are only walley.
If we were talking Pike or a panfish I would do whatever I could to be fishing. Walley well that is like Squirrel ( walley) compared to waterfowl ( Pike) for me.
Pike tastes good no matter what the size, Walley anything over 20 inches is only good for throwing back anyhow. Unless you like to eat retreads and other tire products.

Bruce, I think it's just you! I fish the river all the time and rarely get skunked UNLESS, I'm fishing with you!! Could be just too much goofing off and not enough fishing.
:D :D

At least I can say when I fish the river and don't get anything it is not because I am trying to CATCH CARS!!!
OK OK only a couple times did you do that but hey the pinging of the jig head on the bridge might weaken the structure and cause it to fall down.
We will be ready for the opening when it happens. Psst anyone who wants any of my big fish during the opening weekend can have them so longs as I get three of the good sized eating fish. I am NOT about to pay money for the tournament.
Every time I pay money I never get anything. When I don't I usually catch something big enough to have won. typical for me I have a lot of luck it is just all bad. LMAO
