Thought about heading to the river but the high and fast water made me think otherwise. Congrats anyway on the walleyes even if they were small. Had to feel good just getting out and feeling a tug on the other end of the rod. By the way how small is small when you are talking about the 'eyes you caught? Also how big of a jig did you have to throw to get it in the strike zone? Well good luck the rest of the season and maybe we will run into each other out there on the river.

Judging from his location, I've got to believe he's talking about Mt Morris Rd between McKinley and Seymour just north of Flushing. I drove by after church this morning and saw one vehicle there- a white and blue blazer. I was surprised that anyone was fishing. That is some high, fast moving water. I'm shocked that fish were caught.

That was my blazer you saw down there. I just stopped to look at the river and said to myself there's no way I could catch a walleye out of that mess. Next thing I knew I was knee deep in muck, getting pelted with ice, and fishing my butt off. I bushwacked about a 1/2 mile back. I sure would like to know how you caught walleye out of there outdoor junkie! I did catch a big carp which was alot of fun after casting for two hours without a bump.
