Anyone know at what water temp/time of yearwhen they get active in inland lakes/resivoirs? What about when they spawn in these bodys of water.

Most everything I have seen in magazines ect Is geared towards southern states and larger rivers. Not sure if it applys to the inland lake in Michigan or not.

Thanks for any input.

They have been biting all winter long thru the ice in a nearby lake. They should be hungry by now in the weedy points.

I fish from the shoreline of Lake Erie, in Luna Pier, MI, and the biting gets good in early to mid May through the summer and into the fall. They probably bite well during the winter months if you're an ice fisherman that goes out on Lake Erie or wherever, but I don't ice fish. Ice, cold, and snow ain't my thing :D I caught a couple bullheads here and there last April, so I'm sure the channels bite in April too. That's Lake Erie's shoreline though, if you're talking inland lakes its probably different.
