Nitro 188 / optimax 115

Any one have any comments on this boat or any in the Nitro lineup. Think about getting a new boat to replace the one I've got now.

also i'm thinking about the optimax upgrade. Does any one have an optimax? is it worth the extr*****$.

Dan - I have a Opti 175 on My Pro-V. One word can say it all AWSOME! Everything they say, and more. Nitro Boats are made by Procraft for Tracker Marine. I would suggest going to Walleye Central website, in the boats and motors section in the forums and do a search on Tracker/Nitro boats and make up Your mind then. Good luck - Bob WC253.

I have a 150 opti on a 186 Triton magnum. Have had it less than a year but havent had any problems. Fuel econmy seems to be great.

I've got a friend that has a Nitro and he has been real pleased with it.


I have a 03, 200 OptiMax mounted on a 1900 Pro V. It's a brute. I had one problem since I got it in the fall of 02. A fuse blew and burnt (arced) the fuse holder. It worked but Merc. replaced it under warranty.

I'd purchase it again without hesitation.

i have a nitro 18ft with a 150 merc."gallery"i could have bought any boat i wanted the nitro is by far the best on the water.the 150 will smoke anything on the water 225 cant hang with me on a shotgun start or in the long run.if you got a nitro you know the tilt is everything if it ain't all the way down all you will do is stand on end.like i said go with the nitro you wont be unhappy.D&N sports in K-zoo if he's still there talk to a salesman named Rick he was really cool.
