Can I Take Live Bait Into Canada?

Gong to Simco this weekend. Can I take bait, or will it be a hassle at the border. I see regs on booze, but not on live bait.

NO you can NOT take live bait with you..

You can take live bait with you to Canada. The only thing that you can not bring in is minnows and crayfish. So wax worms, spikes, mousies, and wigglers are all legal. Just got back from Simcoe today. Went over Friday morning and both of us had our limit by noon on Saturday. Good luck to you.
