Fished west of the black bouy today, caught 4 perch 1 16" walleye and about 10001 chubs:mad: All fish were on wigglers in 40ft of water. Didn't see anyone around that did any better.

We had that same problem Wed. in 40 ft. of water. Moved out into 50ft. and they weren't as bad. At least when we marked fish on the Vex. we would catch perch. How was the ice today?
The boy and I will be heading out of Carferry dock at daylight.
Looked like there was alot of guys fishing the Black Bouy area today.

My Son and I just came off Muskegon Lake, caught 72 nice size perch. No, I don't have a digital camera to prove it, but we did stop at Bill's bait shop at the entrance to the Carferry Dock and showed him the 5 gal. bucket that was 3/4 full of perch. We fished in front of the stone pile that is closest to were Ruddiman Creek empties into the lake. 45 ft. of water. All fish came on minnows tight to the bottom. If we get rain, ice won't last long. About 6" in that area now.

That great news on the perch. I fished by the Black Boue till noon and only picked up small fish. Did get 1 eye 14 inches long. Thought about steping on it to see if it would pass for 15 inches but it went back in to grow.

I had my radio with me Sunday, and tried several times to see if anyone from this site was on the lake. No one answered. And I was on channel 7-0. The boy and I had a ball, but I don't think we would have been so successful without the aid of my new Vexilar. These things are just awesome.
