All Right I'll tell you were I would go, But my big secret will be out of the bag. Take the youngsters to lake # 5 near Pittsford. Its a little tricky to find but if you have a county map you will be able to get there. The deepest part I could find it that lake is only about 6-7 fow but have done well on gills there, also I caught about a 6 inch northern out there so they must have pike there. I don't live around there any more so I only get out that way maybe 1-2 times a year. Fish tear drops and waxies and you should catch fish.

Fins, I can't thank you enough for the spot. however the Kapcia jinx for this ice season continues. We had 5 poles in the water for about two hours and drilled many holes all over the lake. Final take was no bites and no fish. the kids are starting to call me the witch of the lake. They had a lot of fun though and they all got a pop for the ride back. thanks again

No fish over there eh... HUh I Usually always get a few sorry about that. Its a nice little spot though quite and peaceful atleast good place for kids, well don't give up. If you go back try about a hundred yards left of the wooden steps... Doesn't look too good I know but for some reson fish like to stock up between the island and the main shore. Better luck next time
